FEDEX FREIGHT GARDENA,CA STRIKES!

Monday, nov. 9, in the City of Opportunity, our courageous brothers and sisters have taken a step toward a brighter future by  striking for the right to vote for Teamster representation. The decision to strike follows the successful Stockton campaign as well as other triumphant campaigns across the nation.
The journey to this point has been a long one. Over the years, we have faced the deceptive anti-union tactics of FedEx Freight including harassment, wrongful termination and the blatant spread of misinformation. But despite their best efforts, we have stood strong in our fight to bring the Teamsters to FedEx because we know that a union contract is our only opportunity for a better future.
The choice to strike is a difficult one, but nothing worth having has ever been easy. Today and for however long it may take, we stand with our brothers and sisters in Gardena.

Stay strong and fight on!

-The Change FedEx to Win Team

Give these drivers a medal, it's people like that ,that makes our lives better, but then you have people in Tulsa, Oklahoma that want to ride on there backs but are to afraid to stand up and fight for better wages and treatment, but want to complain and hope someone will fight for them . The ones that believe XPO will be the answer, are fools.

No Oklahoma is just hard right wing repuplicans they believe u should pull yourself up by your bootstraps, don't ask for anything, but it's ok that corporations get handouts from the government and everywhere they can get it.see they are job creators that's what they say. no it's the people that work and buy things that creates jobs.but when people work in right to work states(right to work for less) they make less therefore they spend less which in turn create less jobs because demand is down and that's because people's wages are low.so Oklahoma deserves what they get.keep voting those hard right wingers

In order to have respect you have to earn it and obviously this FOM or these companies will never get it, until we all vote in the Union because by voting for Representation we have Rights under our Government Amendment of Freedom of Speech and Rights and that's what non of these companies want us to have they want us all to be (AT WILL EMPLOYEES ) so they can do whatever they want with us if they would only change their way of being but no, there to GREEDY for making their $$$$$ funny all we want is a better future all they want is to keep getting Richer! It's sad but they still don't get it their smart enough to run these Companies but not Smart enough to Understand the People that makes them Rich $$$ us the Employee's, The Morale of this story is we will keep on Fighting for what we believe in witch is a better future, of our Morals, Respect, Dignity, and Integrity witch most of these companies don't have like X-CONWAY or we'll see with XPO LOGISTICS you will see what their all about people in dew time. Good file you Petitions before it's too late. By the way I want tell all your Terminal Managers how does it feel to be Protected you know a Contract Like we will have one Union all the way.

You have the power if you want changed sign those union cards and you're going to see how fast xpo will get rid of that FOM.

Just be like here in NMF/MIA where we already have a CERTIFICATION for union representation and we're under contract negotiation. That is why they treat us with respect when they come to us, but even though in the office they keep manipulating the system and the numbers in their convinience. Please stop crying and star all of you organization and sing cards and put a petition in for Union representation.

Once You Petition, Here are Some Things You Can Expect to Hear From Management
When workers form a union, they gain a voice in decisions that affect their jobs, their future and their families. Unfortunately, management doesn’t always like the idea of sharing the decision making with employees. So management’s first reaction will be to make a lot of misleading statements to try to convince you not to join together. Knowing what to expect from management will help you stay focused on your real goal—winning a voice on the job and a say in your future.
Management: “A union is a third party that will come between us.”
Fact: Our union is a democratic, member-run organization. When you form a union, you’ll work together to govern your own organization. And every contract will be reviewed and approved by a majority of the employees where you work.
Management: “If you form a union, you risk losing the benefits and pay raises you already have.”
Fact: It is illegal for a company to freeze or cut previously scheduled raises to discourage you from forming a union. Once you’re organized, you’ll lock in our current wages and benefits and then negotiate improvements from there. All of you will get an opportunity to review your proposed contract before you vote to approve it. Obviously, you’re not going to approve a contract that cuts our wages or benefits.
Management: “The union just wants your dues money.”
Fact: As newly organized Teamsters, you won’t pay dues until you’ve negotiated and voted to approve your first contract. Every serious organization—churches, clubs, sporting leagues, and similar organizations—has to have some kind of funding, and unions are no different. Dues pay for the costs of having an organization—contract negotiations, grievances and arbitrations, training for members, legal fees, and other things so no one has to go it alone. Your dues can not go toward politics there is a voluntary PAC called drive. Dues do not go toward political campaigns. Also your dues are tax deductible.
Management: “The improvements we’re willing to make right now show that you don’t need a union.”
Fact: It’s great that XPO/Con-way Logistics is responding to our concerns. It shows that when we join together, our voices are heard. By forming our union, we can make sure this progress is not just short term. We will build an ongoing dialogue with XPO/Con-way on all our issues. We will also have peace of mind with our union, since the improvements we agree on will be guaranteed in our union contract.
No matter what management says at XPO/Con-way , let us stay focused on our shared goals to make XPO the best possible place to work. Take Charge: Unionize today, vote YES and become a Teamster!

One more thing management will say to discourage you from forming a union they will say the union will destroy the company. Not true you see the union only has one thing to sell and that's to represent workers why would they destroy the company that produces its income actually they try to make the company stronger, with the company stronger they higher more workers mean more union dues for the union

Osiyo , we the cherokee people have a treaty with the U.S. government , we get medical, dental, glasses , prescription drugs, housing, the benefits go on and on, starting in January our hunting and fishing license plus deer tags free. Some will say this happened that happened or you would not get the benefits, sure but bottom line we get them . So see we the cherokee's have a treaty, employees at XPO/ CONWAY could have something similar called a contract, my family sacrifice 'do for there offspring's so make up your minds wait and see or act now. BE READY WITH THIS XPO Logistics Employee Reviews:

Management lacks professionalism and "segregates"
Or separates its employees due to management or supervisor favoritism.
Management does not know how to professionally address its employees via electronic mail nor over the phone communication. There were times that I was rudely hung up on by the call center manager through no fault of my own.
Supervisors Negatively passing judgement right away on ones individual skills and ready to fire someone quickly.
The turnover rate is very high.
What management does not realize is they are managing people, not herding sheep..Humans, not animals in numbers.
Rather than work with the people they work against the people..it is a feeling of constant attack and walking on eggshells working here.
They would rather hire someone new than to keep a good employee because they got sick and even with medical documentation they will terminate you.
I am sure that the company keeps a small amount of employees in Customer service on purpose, so if it is that they need an "overflow"staff they should hire in at that title or seasonal employee etc...
The benefits are not fantastic but they are available.
The computers and working equipment are way outdated for the amount of workload and speed that is expected to be put into them.
In house Human resources is not a good look for a company of this size
There is upward mobility without the chances of pay increase.
Overall if you just need a job and a paycheck for the time being this would be the place.Just be ready to look for something else though, this is not a career.
The company does not have a good 401k plan.

That got that BIG BULLY PAUL LORENSON/VP OF LINE HAUL & CHET RICHARDSON I believe it was this past FRIDAY both I hear went to YELLOW freight. With just those two cuts with thrir salaries & BONUSES probably savings about 1 million bucks. Here comes XPO STARTING with OPERATIONS hold on guys and gals.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving Everyone @ Xpo Logistics.

Part #1
Hear we go again Another Hippocratic, Sarcastic Verbal
Bullshit from Management, that one thing has nothing to do with the other, Management at MIA/NMF States that the Reason that they didn't give us Thanksgiving lunch was because the lack of Revenue and no Reserve$$$ from the Company's Expense out of all the available balance of money that they had for the cost of the Company's Picnic, and that since half of the employees did not  go to the picnic that's probably why their mad and didn't buy us Thanksgiving lunch?  I mean ask yourself why would you  go to a company's picnic when you have so much Hypocrisum, Favoritism, Discrimination and Dividance against  Employees, so ask yourself why would you go to that company picnic. Only people without any Dignity or Scruples would actually go, and here's a better one the terminals that didn't have a company picnic got their Thanksgiving lunch, BULLSHIT! That's what Management here @ NMF is saying.
You know what people they can shove it up their Fucken Asses!
Oh by the way the Employee's in the office had their Thanksgiving lunch oh yeah who knows it could have been The Subcontractors PGA, it could have been The Terminal Manager or who knows the Company Maybe? That bought their Thanksgiving lunch WTF?! GO FIGURE.

Part #2
And and here's another good  story @ NMF/MIAMI, you come to Management or your Supervisor or Operations Managers to ask them why would that Supervisor do something wrong, like the Inbound fork-lift drviers load up that way they do witch is wrong and the Answer you get is and I Quote  (WHY DON'T YOU ASK THEM YOURSELF ) Or you get this Answer, and I Quote  (THAT'S NOT MY FAULT OR PROBLEM )!  I mean what kind of Unprofessional Answer is that from your Management personal, know what people that's why These things happen at your Terminals because of a Response Anger Management with Ignorants and Hate. Well I think  their is 1 to many Supervisors or Operations in NMF/MIA today, but it's just a matter of time thats all until XPO comes cutting through. Good night and have a Happy Thanksgiving to all.
