I have been informed by my union rep that we will be having a CONTRACT proposal meeting sometime in December. We will not wait for the company bullshit on the bogus charges that were brought up against us. We will move forward and have a meeting on what we want in OUR CONTRACT. The company and Paul Styers are delaying the process! We should all go into his office and demand that he stop the bullshit and certify our election.

But things fell apart when he fired a 42-year-old woman organizer who had been raped on the job at gunpoint and was taking too long to return to work, according to lengthy stories in The Los Angeles Times.
The union was cited by state authorities for not having a rape prevention program and Beyer, who narrowly lost his re-election bid to a woman organizer in June 1992, soon became a labor consultant for Disney and other large employers he had once opposed.

(COMMERCE, Calif.) - On Sunday, line haul drivers ratified the first-ever Teamster contract at OnTrac, the largest regional package delivery company in America. The drivers are members of Teamsters Local Union 63 in Covina, Calif. and had been negotiating a first contract for more than a year.
The OnTrac line haul drivers in Commerce approved a contract with:
•Protections against unfair discipline;
•Guaranteed raises every year during the life of the 3-year contract;

You are not kidding that more terminals will be joining. I called our local to inquire and they said that there had already been 10 guys who had called out of our terminal (a big Midwest). The representative I talked to said that at the beginning of the year there will be a great push and a multitude of terminals are ready.
