Conway wants their employees to work safe but fast. The keyword being fast. They want to give the illusion of safety but all they care about is the bottom line. They train you in how to safely drive a forklift fast. What a joke! What's not a joke is a Conway driver out in North Carolina that was killed. This man was killed when he went to close the door on his trailer on a slightly sand incline and the trailer rolled back and crushed him. Perhaps it's safe to assume that in his haste to work fast, he forgot This kind of accident is very likely to happen at any of these type mills or plants. These are the kind of things that happen when a company puts pressure on their employees to be faster and faster. These aren't people in an office shuffling papers, these are dock workers and truck drivers. It's not safe to work fast with heavy machinery. Don't tell conway that because they don't care.My condolences go out to the Johnson family.
