This is why you southern states will never see over time after 8 ! The map clearly shows why you don't have OT. Up here in the North they don't dare take away OT after 8 for fear of Union retaliation. This is Union country up here, and they know it. Even though we haven't voted a terminal in yet our time will come very soon!! Over time is about a third of your check a major difference in life style. If we can have it so can you! i hope you get the union.i worked 15 years there and retired and get $200.00 a month retirement.they took away are sick days,made us post minute by minute and mile all day long.and also beware the new manager started this and will cut your throat and send you down the road in a heart beat.

CSR here .........Think about it, why do you think Greg Lehmkuhl is spending so much money on preventing the unions from coming in........Figured it out yet???? Because corporate greed. Company does not want you to make more money. They had the biggest profits last year yet they cant give it back to the ones who make it possible....Go figure...So you wonder why you cannot get a bigger paycheck. You need the union to come in and represent you. The company wont go broke. That is the biggest lie they tell you. You don't have to pay union dues. You will be so much better with the union. They can't get rid of overtime in the north , just over hire ,like they have in xpn,take take take ,was better off last year with overtime and less per hour,but the sheep here just can't figure that out.

Its funny how everyone just blames Greg Lehmkuhl.You guys do realize he has a boss right.Someone controls him.This company is not just ran by Greg Lehmkuhl.Does anyone know who has the meetings with the investors?who is always looking for higher profits so he and the rest of the slave drivers get a bigger payout every quarter.I believe he's the main problem its not just Lehmkuhl.This guys is making multi millions off the working slaves and no one seems to care.You guys need to follow the chain of command to get to the root problem.Lets not just pull the weed from the top we need to get to the bottom of it....But for starters we need to unite.WE need to stop being sheep to the greedy...And vote for the UNION.But for some just being slaves is good enough.SOME people just don't have the drive to be better and thats why this management thinks were a bunch of uneducated monkeys.

ask your manager about the lawsuits that have been going on on the West Coast we have been getting checks for the last two months one was $2500 for line drivers the other was about five to $600 for everybody we have a Nother one coming up from Northern California for not allowing city drivers to take their lunch in between their 4th to 6th hour
It's true that you don't have to pay union dues in a right to work state but why wouldn't you. These people are representing us. A lawyer will not represent anyone without a fee. Same goes for the union. I think it shouldn't be an option to pay or not to pay. "Right To Work" was designed to weaken the unions by giving people the option to choose representation but without having to pay for it. You can do it but I wouldn't advise it. It's pretty low in my book for those who don't pay dues. I'm not accusing you of supporting that just a warning to those who would take advantage of it.
Con-way doesnt care if you take lunch or breaks..Its all about how far they can push the slaves to Improve their profits.What their paying out is nothing compare to what they made in the past 3 years...and I ask you in your terminals how many peopoe have you seeb come and go because they get fed up because all Conway does is push push for more.And what do we get? Lean is what i see.and what does lean do? It makes us a more efficient slaves.All it is.shut up and work harder faster and we want to see bigger bonuses for Us(The big shots).Thats lean.
They care trust me they do because if they didn't they wouldn't be spending out on these union busters or what they call Consultants. People keep on keeping on because what might seems as chump change compared to the profits they have made last year and years past doesn't compare to the money they have shelled out since this go union campaign began. Yes we know the have deep pockets NOW but they had no intentions o n paying out $$$ for this length of time. And they are still paying out to stop this movement. People don't look at the road ahead as being to hard to climb, let's stick together until we getter done. If they keep paying out on fines & I know it's not as much as the hugh profits there are bringing in, but if a good majority of terminals file with the NLRB it takes CON-WAY a little time to come up with a another play. They have to go back and regroup so they won't get more fines & there's where these high paid an hour consultants come in. Oh, HELL YEAH THEY CARE & IT'S BAD PUBLICITY THAT GETS OUT FOR CON-WAY. THAT IS ONE REASON THE HAVE A ROUGH TIME IN RECRUITING, KEEPING PEOPLE IN THE DRIVING SCHOOL & CAMPAIGING FOR DOCK WORKERS TO GET INTO THE SCHOOL. I DON'T KNOW HOW SUCCESSFUL ANYONE ELSE BARN IS BUT NNC DRIVING SCHOOL IS TRULY SAD.DON'T GET SIDE TRACK BY LEAN WE ALL KNOW WHAT LEAN IS ABOUT, BUT WE HAVE TO KEEP MOVING.
