Retaliation on Fontana Driver

Today a pro-union driver from the Fontana, CA terminal was escorted out of the premise on account that he stole company time. He was suspended last week for "sleeping" in the yard goat. According to Conway, he was inactive for over an hour, so they concluded he was asleep. He was actually working the entire time and has witnesses that can verify that. This is a misstep on Conway's behalf, this is a retaliation against the driver because he is pro-union. This should make an interesting case that will hopefully be heard by the NLRB. The company wants to put fear into the rest of us by doing this. We need to stay strong and support our brother. Bringing the union in will require a fight! The company will lie and intimidate. Just know your rights and document any abuse, any infractions. We will win this, we just need to stick together.

Don't believe Conway management’s lies about union companies not doing well. It's lie, just look at UPS’ stocks, they’re through the roof. They don't want us to organize because they won't be able to steal from us. Wage theft is being committed everyday by these corporate crooks. Don't forget they stole our vacation time four years ago. Those veteran drivers who are afraid to sign union cards don't think that if you come to work and just do your job will keep you safe but that won't be enough. Conway wants to get rid of full-time employees and replace most of us with temporary and part-time workforce without benefits. W. Gregory Lehmkuhl, President of Con-way Freight this is the man who said we had too many vacation days, that's why he needed to steal company time from us (our vacation time).

It's very important that a good number of this fired drivers fellow drivers step up and support him. Either with a petition or individual letters to the NRLB.
This will help him a very big way.

What a discrace, this company falls completely in the catagory of no back bone. Their are so many men and woman who work hard to support their families, which include feeding, paying for their mortgage,medical bills for love ones including for them selfs,cost of living is no joke. This driver as many family coworkers was doing the samething, working hard for his living.How many of us will be next? We and i say we all will be next! At the rate these spineless inbreads(CONWAY), will contnue to suck the living life out of our families just for corprate greed ! How can management get away with such injustice. Men or Women should never be put threw such devistation. Taking the food out of a families mouth is straight out cruelty. We all must fight for our families because that is the root of our will to work with honesty, diligence, good repore, and most of all we all work thinking of our families. So fight in order to succeed for our selves and love ones. Because this conway company will never strive in What they call (INTEGRATY). What a slap in the face!!! They hide behind this word (INTEGRATY). Conway should look up the word (INTEGRATY) in a real dictonary!!!!!! WE MUST FIGHT FOR THIS DRIVER,WE MUST FIGHT FOR THIS DRIVER, FIGHT FOR YOUR SELVES, FIGHT FOR YOUR SELVES.

The service center manager at usb PATRICK has laid off pro union workers before at ula. Two part time dock workers that used to work for union companies we're laid off once he found out about that. He is a snake!!!!!

Usb manager Patrick came to ula the next day after the incident with two other guys pretty sure they were union BUSTERS!!! Be carefull everybody

They always fire people for stealing company time but in the ula dispatch there are three guys who stand there in front of Tim, Shawn and Ramiro.. on outbound and fac for 30 min+. At a time and it seems to be ok. People have complained about harassment and nothing has been done. The people that were doing the harassment Bragg about how nothing will be done to them and they are still being used as lead persons in ula. These are just some of the reasons why all of this organization is going on, just incase somebody in upper management wants to know and might be reading this. Get ready because something is coming your way. Ftp`s

The only one who seems to be fair at ula is Joe p.. strict yes but with everybody not just one person. That can be respected, he has no favorites.

Lets do this the ones who should be fired for stealing company time are the dozen or so drivers that get special privileges doing "safety" stuff sitting around doing nothing watching us on the cameras and violating are rights telling us what to do acting like supervisors we need to take a stand just a matter of time before they find a reason to fire you.

LLA is ready to ORGANIZE! Management's harassment on workers is an everyday thing. From using the restroom on company time to timing drop off in places they know receiving companies are no compling. They have gone to the extent of actual taking a hot dog from an individuals hand only to go throw it in the trash, this person was hungry and took two hot dogs then management saw and in front of the others took the hot dogs and left the man with out food to eat. Why? because it was one for each when no one else was able to go back to base for lunch.So there was more than enough extra hot dogs. Camera in the cab, training days, coaching... when the administration in blah! please. organization is a must. They should not take advantage of their title. Each driver works to support their families.Much like management but since they do none of the grunt work they want you to feel beneath them. We need to stand and speak as one! and only as one can we success.

Don’t let Conway management intimidate you write down the name of any management personal asking any employee questions about union activity. Don’t let Conway management get away with it, it’s against the law. Those cowards will denied everything in front of a labor judge.

I dont know why ppl are saying that other terminal are ready I personally think that this is not going down at all I've been talking to other drivers from other terminals and they said that there not ready and others dont know about it this is something serious the if it happens we all wining but if it dont we are all losing so lets be real I want to se what terminals are ready to do this am from ULA and we are not readythise pages shall all be full of comments since we care about it so I want to see all coments or at least comment if you still working on this

Just had the long walk out of Conway premises at Fontana for stealing company time when I suffered a medical issue as I arrived at blythe so management took the opportunity to fire me. Maybe it had something to do with filing a complaint 8 months prior of retaliation on three fos' s

Contact the nlrb file charges against those busters who fired you.Conway management will use the same bull shit excuse stealing company time to fire anybody they don't like that's why we need a union to protect ourselves from cowards that will use their position to retaliate on employees.
