  6. We will be bringing you and update on to the great times and the fun times and what a great place to work in the Miami Terminal is, this terminal practically runs by itself we don't need an operations manager we don't need a terminal manager because thier never around when you need them they're only around when they want to tell you something or to try to bust your ass in something, of course they always blame the drivers but they're inside employees are the ones that are stealing time every day
left and right, right in front of the noses of course they'll tell you they don't know nothing about it and then when you tell them something about it they don't do a fucken thing that's exactly why we need the Union everywhere! So once again I tell you why would you bitch for having the union beingin a terminal when management does whatever the fuck they want to do, so the supervisors you complain to them about a problem and say yeah don't worry about I will take care of it but then in the end we all know that they don't do a fucking thing about it either of course the ones that are causing the problems and conflicts and doing whatever the fuck they want to do and stealing companytime is their own people because they don't want that Union so you know what I tell them, fuck them. Union all the way Miami Teamsters.

  7. In Orlando it's the same Patrick and Shawn what a waste of money? They send the hard working drivers home and keep the rats that are stealing time around! Hope everybody enjoyed that 70 cent raise because xpo getting more in return no more overtime except for the chosen few we have them in every service center. Those drivers that where so anti union now crying all the way to there cars when there told to go home with only 5 or 6 hours. But to all my fellow drivers we have the power if you want your hours every stop we go to has a set amount of time in handheld we can give that customer give every customer all the time down to the second! If all these fucking Rat's steal time we can do it buy the book. New slogan for XPO is give your customers every second they deserve!

    1. Yes you can. If you want to talk union or organize you meed to do it on your own time. Like on your break's or lunch time. Either wise careful as you can read there's alot off two faced back stabbers in this company.
This people are only out for themselves..
Best thing to do is get people you trust off the clock and organize. Good luck i hope you find the strength in your coworkers.. Make sure to vote YES and bring equality.

    2. That's right you can talk about union during break, lunch or off the clock if management threatened you for talking about union make sure to write down the time and date it happened to file charges with the Nlrb for violating your rights, wear a teamster lanyard or a pin if management tells you to take it off that a violation it's against the law,the company will get fine and will be enforced to post this https://www.nlrb.gov/sites/default/files/attachments/basic-page/node-3788/employee_rights_fnl.pdf in the break room apologizing for violating employees rights.

  9. Slowly but surely people are coming aboard at ULA. So much stuff is changed at their convenience that its unbelievable. Last week they decided to start calling drivers in and skipped about 8 of us drivers. They favored 1 guy to come in hours before everybody that is above him on the extra board. When we asked our fom Benn, why he said he needed him and would continue to do so. Well hey ULA management why dont you just take away the extra board all together and just call in by favorite ass kissers. The first time we organized and did not want management to know. This time Benn, tim, Dave, Jason, etc, we are getting ready for another vote thanks to your favoritism, lies, and all the bs you guys come up with every day. It is not our falt that most of us do not kiss ass or our father do not work here, we just want to show up to work and be treated equal and for you guys to follow your own fkn rules that you have in place. How hard is that? Hr lady? ULA? ULA is coming everybody stay strong.

    1. You need to get together with a union rep. They will do the setting up. But just remember stick together stay strong and vote Yes. Because if you guy's loose your petition nothing will change and management will just laugh at guy's because now they know you guy's don't have the ball's to stand up against them.
But they also know that if they screw with you. You and the union can file charges against them. The best thing is make sure to get enough Yes votes.
      Good luck.

      Delete
    5. It doesn't work that way. The union has to warn the company that the employees want to be represented. Then the company will hire a 3rd party (union buster)representative to come and threaten ,Lie ,bribe and intimidate the worker's. Then depending on how strong the worker's are then you get a day to vote. But either wise your place can't just have a vote.
      Good Luck.

  13. What is the real difference between Miami and a non union terminal? Is it more strict/writeups, are supervisors+tm pissed that it's union now?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Don't be afraid guys that's what's between choosing for a better future when we start planning for our retirement if you vote no for union representation you're giving other people to decide for your future but if you vote yes for union representation or having lawyers representing us that's what teamsters are our lawyers representing us we will have a better chance to control our future for ourselves and families. Let me tell you that supervisors will also benefit if we go union because they will not be under so much pressure to meet their goals that are being raise every year.

  16. Can we have a union where we get certain routes+hours+no dockwork

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Don't worry within the next year you won't have to work the dock...... Because part time dock workers will be taking drivers spot on the dock leaving drivers with 30-35 hours a week. This may good for you who doesn't want to work the dock, but for the other 99% who depend on 45-50 hours a week from working the dock it doesn't help us. Union yes!!

  21. If I were to call the union, say my terminal (milwaukee) wants to talk more about a union, could I give them my name and get the ball rolling for a vote or would a certain number of workers have to call too? The last post said the union would call the employer but at what point does that take place?

just like when we get a raise. It's not because the company wants to give you a raise or the high amount they give.
It's the union threat. That control's and gives.

    1. Maybe this will answer your question..This was posted a few day's ago.
Jacobs Private Equity LLC to take a majority stake in XPO’s predecessor, Express-1 Expedited Solutions, for $135 million in 2011, replacing the board and naming himself CEO.

The next deal, he hints, may not be that far away.

“Sooner or later, whether it is sooner like in six to nine months, or later like two years or two-and-a-half years, we will go back and start doing some M&A,” Jacobs said during the Feb. 22 conference call. “Building up an M&A pipeline doesn’t happen overnight.”

    2. Saia doesn't have the money to buy XPO. It's very unlikely but we better go union before we get sold again. For those rats like Richie from Orlando, I believe he's in Trenton this week trying to mislead and scare drivers against the union. He's telling lies about Miami and the other terminals that have voted for the union.

    ReplyDelete
  31. They're not going to sell, what they're going to do is hire all part time dock workers to move freight paying them $16 an hour, offering them 20-25 hours a week without giving them benefits. Which is better for them than paying us drivers $26 an hour for straight time or $40 for overtime. Bradley Jacobs is going to make a shit ton of money by stealing our work from us and depriving us of any overtime or not even us getting 40 hours. He sees this goldmine and so why would he sell? He wants that extra 100 million a year bonus in stocks. He needs that money to pay his bills I guess. So we're stuck with this asshole.

  43. Thats right my friend and everything that the Union Buster says 99.9% it is all lies just so we would not vote or go union two things will definitely happen and this I promise you one the company will sell eventually 2 we all go Union and if you're protected by the laws of this country then there's very little that the company could do but sell but if you are a certified terminal Union represented you will always be protected by the IBT, the International Brotherhood Teamsters, and by the laws of this country, by the way so you know the company has been lying all along and will keep lying just not to see the union come in, but my friend but my friends I tell you the union will come in eventually because this company is not only corporate greed$$ there are also a discriminatioal company against their employees, and Management has a lot of favoritism only because of Retaliation! Against their union employee members. In Mia/NMF our XX TM N.W she got fired for all the discrimination and greediness against her employees she got what she deserved, also our X TM J.W he was also fired and was always in retaliation against the collective bargaining unit members in Mia he also got what he deserved all although we don't wish either one of them the worst and it's not personal, it was only business but I'm unfortunate it became personal to them. And they both got what they deserved just like everyone else that does good will get his deed and everyone that does evil will also get their fate. So I tell you my friends (don't do unto others what you would not have want done to you.
    Peace out Mia Teamsters.
