Tom Folds, a city driver at XPO in Norcross, Georgia recorded a 2-minute video in which he urges his co-workers from across the country to stand together to fight for a secure retirement, affordable health care and fairness in the workplace. Don’t miss this great video. #WeAreXPO
Amen Tom we all need to stand together come Ltu lets do this
ReplyDeleteIs this approved by corporate? Way to go,need more drivers to do this kind of stuff, thank you.
ReplyDeleteDon't need APPROVAL, this is what our COUNTRY CALLS FREEDOM OF SPEECH! We're WATCHING XPO...NO RETALIATION OR SHOULD I REMIND EVERYONE LAWSUITS CAN RESULT FROM ALL OF A SUDDEN RELATION.....WE ARE STRONG, COURAGEOUS AND WE HAVE A PURPOSE WHILE WE'RE HERE ON THIS EARTH. XPO MIGHT HAVE LOW DOWN DIRTY LAWYERS TO GO LOW, BUT WE HAVE THE ALMIGHTY GOD SO WE GO HIGH! GO TOM, YOUR NNC BROTHER HERE!
DeleteThis doesn't need to be approved by corporate.this is our right....this is an employee run blog.
DeletePhilly is behind you as we all should be,BE FEARLESS!!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat will happen to the TM & DOO who can't control their terminals? Their strategy is to pay these union busters over $350 an hour to sit around and report everything they think they have analyzed. That's GREED for you, they rather pay these guys $3000 or more a week than to invest in better health care and fair wages. That's how they get over on southern workers by paying less to DSR, DOCK WORKERS & THE POOR CSR'S who hasn't even had a raise in two or more years. The company has a very poor perception of women (CSR'S). This company would rather hire union busters than to take of it's own....just REMEMBER like our past president your GREED WILL LEAD ONLY TO DESTRUCTION. DO RIGHT BY THE PEOPLE. ..TRY COMPROMISING IT WILL SAVE YOU MILLIONS IN THE END. ...YOU CAN'T WRITE OFF EVERYTHING.
ReplyDeleteIts $3000 a DAY!!!!!
DeleteDid anyone get health care info yet
ReplyDeleteYes... premiums are going up as high as $8 a week. Smokers will pay $23 a week and it's still an 80/20 split. So the coverage is the same, but premiums went up! So another reason to vote yes on Union!
DeleteI'm working at Abf at the moment there's no higher cost on primiums for smokers.i don't pay a penny on premiums I only pay $15 co pay/doctor visit
DeleteYes my Deductible went up from 400$ to 750 $ person what is this Obama care union yes now !!!
DeleteOver $1.5 million paid out over the last 2 years between Conway and XPO to talk you out of voting it in. Look it up yourself.

Where is TOM CLARK i want see his face one more time here in LAREDO to tell him what happen two years ago when he said don't matter what you guys going to do,but no raise for you
ReplyDeleteThis company will always push you to your limits and demand more taking days off is always a problem paying you what you deserve is always a problem giving you a decent insurance always a problem and will give you no pension their back is up against the wall now what are they going to do????
ReplyDeleteWhat one deserves and how much revenue a position generates is 2 completely different talking points.
DeleteI heard everything will be mailed out this weekend
ReplyDeleteso insurance going up no raises what everyone waiting for time for a change
ReplyDeleteInsurance companies are gouging everywhere they can, can you legitimately believe companies have unlimited revenue to absorb this cost? I'm against higher costs just like anyone else but Until you have all the facts it's unfair to assume it's greed.
DeleteThat's why we need the union to bargain or negotiate collectively for better health insurance coverage.corporate leaders will not give their employees decent benefits unless they're forced to do it.
DeleteI just heard the good news! Congratulations to all!! I hope and pray the push continues. What we need now is to lock down a region. This will put the company in a position where they have to recognizes us and negotiate a good contract. And once a good contract is in place others will be more willing to vote YES.
ReplyDeleteBrothers and Sisters stay strong and stay the course! Together we can and will do this.
To those who have had a vote and lost, stay strong you will get another chance to have your voices heard
To those who are considering applying for representation keep your heads in the game. This is about our futures, job security, retirement and medical, for us and our families.
To those who have voted YES I am brought to tears of joy over your resolve, determination, strength and courage. Keep up the good work and THANK YOU for spearheading the way.
Always remember…you can tell when a union buster is lying...their lips are moving!
All of this is possible because Obama has been appointing worker friendly judges. This the time to vote the unions in for years the court system was anti workers and favored corporations that's all changing thanks to Obama apppointing the federal judges during congressional recess. If the working people of America want this to continue vote Hillary!
ReplyDeleteThanks for those FACTS most of us don't Realize everything these court appointed JUDGES stand for. Just as we have put our trust in corporations ONLY to be screwed over and over again while some law makers protect theses corporations as they continue to be the ultimate despise of this very country we live. As I have said before we don't take care of our own. Insurance premiums continues to rise along with the cost of medications and out of pocket medical procedures. People don't sit around waiting for Mr Jacobs to work with us, he will not compromise on anything unless his hands are forced by the law. Yes this is his company and he chooses to run his company on GREED, but we are the ones who make the profits for him and he chooses to be an UNJUST OWNER....Mr Jacobs is writing his own legacy. ...GREED,GREED, & MORE GREED!
DeleteI thoughts he was a family man haha yep he's greedy wake up dummies
DeleteCompany is so poorly managed James Grose got regional manager position and has never ran a terminal He could hardly run a sector more less plan out budgets but what the heck somebody always needs a fall guy looks like they found one Let's see how long he last before he gets fired and has to drag his poor family to another side of the country UNION
ReplyDeleteXpn doesnt miss him, thats why this company has got worse ,still loaded up with incompetent management at all levels that don't treat everyone the same, and they promote the biggest suckass screw ups.
DeleteWhy is it that we do all the work and bring in all the revenue and yet our bounce is nothing compared to what the supervisors get and upper management
ReplyDeleteI hope you're all happy with the new insurance. premiums went up about 5.50 a week for me same coverage and still high deductibles... what ever crap raise they give us probably won't cover the increase cost if our insurance. They specifically said they want us to share in the cost of insurance... that's code for let's get the employees to pay more. Union Yes!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes in our meeting they keep saying the higher cost will be offset that's BS like always off set is another way to say your getting screwed union strong !!!
DeleteAgain the family insurance going high,I prefer to paid 57.50 a month to union dues than paid 360$ dlls a month for the family plan and saved 302 dollars on my pocket
ReplyDeleteSave$320 plus overtime and pension plan and job security.
ReplyDeleteThey said the company spends 200 million on insurance and they act like it's a lot... this company is valued at 15 billion. it's all bullshit
ReplyDeleteThis insurance plan is a slap in the Face! Wake up people can't you see what there doing to us. They want to blame everything on high medical costs... but the reality is they simply don't want to spend the money on us even though they have it.
ReplyDeleteHow is this better than Conway.... same old crap just a different name.
ReplyDeleteI will use a line from Trump " What the Hell do you have to lose!!! " vote Yes to Union it can't get worse than this
ReplyDeleteYes I agree
DeleteYes it can get worse,we have contractors peddling freight in Philly right now,TODAY!!! When are they going to come peddle freight from your barn? I promise it will happen before you know it,a union contract wont allow it,think about it.
DeleteDoesn't anybody remember when we all became con-way frt. and they took away our pension and said your 401k will make you a millionaire, how's yours doing? Union now!
ReplyDeleteBe a millionaire when I turn 120
DeleteThe teamsters have excellent insurance but the dummies working here can't figure that out to busy kissing ass to try to get ahead Union strong yes vote
ReplyDeleteREGION LOCKDOWN IN PROGRESS WILL THERE BE ENOUGH UNION BUSTERS TO COVER EVERY TERMINAL?
ReplyDeleteunion insurance free 90/10 blue cross
ReplyDeleteI would hope that all of you by now would get the big picture before the union came in Con-way Freight was thinking of selling it to XPO so my friends it was all in the making this is your time to stand up for what you believe because if not little by little we will be sold, XConway will be sold again for the Price Is Right buy XPO Logistics Brad Jacobs ladies and gentlemen Brad Jacobs is a man of making money he doesn't care about you he doesn't care about your family all he cares about is making his money and by now for the second time you should all wake up and smell your Future! Do not be Ignorant be Protected, get your presentation go to your local union rep for you to have a better future fight for what you believe and stand up for yourselves and your family a word to the wise.
ReplyDeleteRemember you lose your first Battles in your own Mind.
Peace Out local 769 Miami/NMF.
