  13. Well, it was coming. With the centralized billing more and more CSR's will be cut from the payroll. They already have. Next on the new plan is the highest paying drivers on the payroll. This will reduce excessive costs and put more money to the bottom line. Next is tenure managers. Highest expense cost for the company. They want low paid managers that bring a different culture so we can't complain about the old one. This company is a machine. Unless money is being made it will evolve without you unless you're helping profit the company. Tom Clark should be next now. He was used for his experience. No need for him. More savings for the company. We're paid to accept the changes. Give it time. Lean and the culture they want to instill will increase the turnover even more. Service is at an all time low......(Tenure mgrs are leaving)......No experience in the field....Hr has no back bone, no disapline, the company is loosing customers due to over priced low service and big time damages and claims. Enough of my high kick. Look at it yourself. The proof is right in front of you.....

  27. Let's start by defining Conway's "Open Door Policy"-An open door policy means, literally, that every manager's door is open to every employee. The purpose of an open door policy is to encourage open communication, feedback, and discussion about any matter of importance to an employee.
    As a Laredo DSR I have used the open door policy, reported issues and taken a preventive step in escalating an issue. Nothing was done no report taken. Issues were swept under the rug, my fellow co-workers have seen the caos in the terminal and we have all come to the same conclusion, the company doesn't care.

    if an employee is a kiss-ass he will get the best routes, saturday line haul runs when they have already completed sufficient hours.

    life is not fair thats why it is fair

    DSR's are everywhere doing nothing in the office while others finish routes and are sent to docks; to finish a dock workers duties. how does that make any sense.
    after years of reporting and using the so called open door policy with every change in management and supervisor laredo dsr's got tired and took action as a group with the national labor board. written words are a constant the spoken word might not be heard.

    looking down at the same pair of boots gets tiring try to wear tennis instead and get coaching when your camera turns on.

    there is no buddy system here! we have families to support, medical bills to pay, children to send to college,and mortage to pay. everyone is on their own. the buddy system will not get you lower medical cost, job security nor petition for your long years of services.

  45. First off let me say how proud of the Miami drivers we are up the road. I'm only sorry we haven't been able to show more support.....YET. You have plenty of guys on your side up this way and we're working hard to make things happen.

    The way I see it is,a while back the company asked,no BEGGED,the drivers to give them one more chance."Just give us one more chance!!" they begged. Well, it appears that most of the drivers across the nation fell for it. So I ask those drivers now, what has this company actually changed since then??What have they done to make things right? Are the southern drivers getting fair overtime? Have you gotten any more points on your 401K? Sick days? Are junior guys taking the better runs? Have they done anything?? You see,this is what they were counting on.Just another stall tactic until the storm passes and they can regroup.Now that Lehmkuhl is gone and we're in a transition, NOW is the time to strike with petitions.The company is starting to think this movement is dwindling but I don't think that's the case.KEEP FIGHTING,KEEP TALKING TO YOUR COWORKERS,UNITE AND KEEP THIS MOVEMENT GOING !!!
