Union Busters Lupe Cruz & Ass. LM-21

$3,169,698 is the price that Conway and other corporations are willing to pay to keep us union-free. That’s what they have paid to Lupe Cruz and Associates, a firm of union busters. That’s what Conway has paid so far to keep our wages and benefits down. That’s what they pay to make sure you have no rights at work. They spend that money willfully because that is nothing compared to what they will have to pay us in better wages and benefits should we organize. These people are hired to lie to us, to make us believe that we don’t need a union. They make money on people’s misery. Everything Conway has given to us over the past year is because they are trying to stop the bleeding. The wage increase is to pacify us. That will go away once the union movement dies down. Let’s keep making this company throw money away on union busters. All that money will go to waste and we will still get our union

We are the union the employees, we're not trying to spread union propaganda if you're a dock worker ask a ups dock woker about his benefits compare to conway's that's not propaganda that's a fact union workers have better health benefits, better retirement and safer working conditions. About those drivers drinking coffee milking the clock is not the union problem ula doesn't have a union that's management problem.

    --This victory follows three previous ones in 2014: On November 19, a group of 222 drivers at FedEx Freight in Charlotte, N.C., voted to join Teamsters Local 71; on Oct. 31, a group of 113 drivers at FedEx Freight in South Brunswick, N.J., joined Teamsters Local 701 in North Brunswick, N.J.; and on Oct. 14, a group of 47 drivers in Croydon, Pa., voted to join Teamsters Local 107 in Philadelphia.

    Mother: Union, just retired, pension, two homes, health benefits - casino cocktail waitress - same job 35 years. Union protected her job, her rights, and her wage. She's traveling now....

    Father: Non union, corporate sales, 5 companies over 35 years, pays outta pocket for health insurance, no pension, still working, 20K less than he made 15 years ago,

    Unions work for people and protect their rights to fair wages and workers' benefits.

  18. Don't be afraid XME, Miami is under contract negotiations. Conway's lawyers and teamsters lawyers are negotiating in good faith, things are better than expected. Miami drivers are also seating at the negotiation table.

  20. The raise in Jan was the one we were suppose to get last year. Now...another year behind because we are not getting one this year. Meanwhile, others are topping the charts getting richer! You do the math! Low wages on top of lowered morale!

It's funny that some of you are just realizing your not getting a raise this year.because last year after we got the 2.00 raise I posted that when I asked the director of operations when will the next raise be, He said Conway will not be giving another raise for 3 to 5 year's.I also posted for people to go to the hiring site's and post how Conway treats the workers.Because Conway was having management posting on the site's saying it's the best place to work at.So they could over hire people so they would have enough new drivers to replace the ones that have more than 8 years or the ones that wanted the union.Now everyone is surprised that there's a bunch of new hires and were not getting a raise.Well again don't expect to get anything.we have 4 years to go before we get another raise and if any of you leave its ok because you've trained your replacement already.and most of you said no to having a union.That right there is having good business sense.Doug and Greg sure do know how to win.But let's keep voting No and see what we get in the next few years.Probably leaned right out of benefits.why give workers benefits?when there happy working for peanut and don't stand up for their rights!!!

    1. I agree 100% there are drivers at my Barn that did not want the Union. Now there complaining that there overtime is gone due to the over hiring. It kills me how one can vote No to Union then complain what Conway does to them. I hate to be the one that says I told you so, but I told you so

  23. Why is it so hard to understand that Conway won! They spent millions they broke laws they bribed and made threat's, and still !!!! Won! They can do what ever they want and You will accept it! They will Not give raise's take away Benifits and can easily replace you, and there is nothing you can do about it because you are a No Vote!!

  25. At my Barn here in Michigan Conway is still hiring drivers and Dock workers when most of us can't even get our 8 hrs in but they still keep hiring. Looks like Conway is going to do some house cleaning why else are they hiring when freight is down and we are part time drivers. This is what the no voters in Xbo wanted good luck!

Basically they told us yesterday in Pontiac that Conway is not going to give raise's for awhile, and they are not going to invest into the work force until our profits get back up to 330 million! We were at 210 last year so we got along way to go! They are going about it all wrong by cutting cost and eliminating wast like line haul runs. They should be investing into the work force and opening runs and growing the revenue! So get ready Conway is on a mission to L.E.A.N. us Down to small pay checks crap Benifits and possibly out of a Job! That's there plan to get to 330 million profit! But go ahead vote No for the Union if you like that plan!!!

I don't understand why you fear him and why you took him seriously? I would have paid good money too see Numbskull make a Ass of him self! Watching him make his so called threat's would have been funny. Why anyone fears this guy I don't get what is he going to do! Dock worker's do you not know your the lowest paid in the industry! Fed Ex, UPS,Old Dominion,all pay more for there dock workers. What numbskull is going to replace us in 6 hours for better jobs!!   36. Here in Orlando union busters were here last week milking conway for some more money? When Lupe and his thugs need more money conway gave them a blank check. So they will make up rumors about union activities so they can travel eat and stay in nice hotel's and get paid 300 and hour nice all on con way's dime. For all FAC supervisor's want to give you guys a heads up that Rat Omar was overheard complaining to those union busters last week about you guys saying you were tha problem here in Orlando. Maybe because your guy's are tha only one's holding people accountable! Rat Omar Perez is piss at FAC supervisor's for holding his son accountable for his lack of work!! So you know he's going to complain to Tom Clark in his town hall meeting this week. Please don't let anyone change you guys, a lot of people respect you guys for that!!!

The NLRB is full of shit!!! 3 cases were filed against conway xme 1 for the union buster telling workers the union sent union cards to conway and the union pulled the charge because the NLRB was going to side with conway. 2 a pro union full time dock worker was fired for driving his forklift without the seatbelt, while a anti union full time dock worker and a FOS did the same and no punishment was given but the NLRB sided with conway. 3 a pro union full time dock worker was fired for stealing time, two anti union full time dock workers were caught by the FOS and SCM TWICE for stealing time and no suspension was given and they kept their jobs, and the full time dock worker in case #2 was caught stealing time he was given a write up and the NLRB ruled in conways favor. The NLRB is a bunch of college guys that never driven a truck worked a dock or driven a forklift deciding the working mans fate. Seems like the three cases that the NLRB sided with conway at xme showed everyone at the barn the union or the NLRB couldn't protect us guys against conway.
