FedEx Freight Drivers in Stockton Say "Yes!" to the Teamsters, Again.

In a shocking turn of events, FedEx Freight drivers in Stockton, Ca voted
overwhelmingly to continue their union membership on April 26, 2019.

The decertification vote followed a substantial anti-union effort by the
company which included showings of anti-union videos, group anti-union
meetings, one-on-one anti-union ride alongs, as well as a barrage of new
hires in an attempt to stack the vote in their favor. The company has also
delayed yearly raises for the Stockton drivers citing ongoing
negotiations with the union even though non-union service centers
received their annual raises on time.

Despite the company's vigorous attempts to sway the vote, the drivers
voted 31-16 in favor of remaining in one of the nation's strongest unions,
the Teamsters. The landslide victory sends a clear
message to the company, your belittling voice of intimidation will never be
as loud or as strong as the voices of organized and empowered employees.

The Fedex Stockton drivers and the Teamsters look forward to ongoing
negotiations with the company.

    1. we’re having a meeting at local 63 let your coworkers know and attend, don’t forget we’re the union at USB. Nothing will change at USB until we vote yes for teamsters union representation

  3. Union will never happen, the DSR who's trying to speak for USB has had interest in at least 3 "NON" union trucking companies. If he wants the union so nad why not go to ABR or Reddaway, etc. . . This isn't who needs to be speaking for me or USB. FYI ABF and Reddaway are hiring so go ahead and move on. USB drivers can represent themselves.

    1. It’s my right to see union representation. Pete, how did it go for your brother, Bernie? XPO fired him for supposedly stealing company time. That’s the excuse they use when they want to fire someone. Don’t forget that we’re all “at-will” employees. That means they can fire us for whatever reason they chose. Educate yourself and don’t believe management’s lies.

    3. You are wrong if you think that drivers can represent them selves if you represent you’re self on any situation at work you know that the company will always going to listen to you but they are not going to help you or do something about it

  4. Local 63 you think the drivers who show up to your meetings are respected at USB and they're not for sure the 2 getting the union cards signed. They're tolerated. You need target drivers with character and matter at USB or you'll continue to waste your time. Local 63 find some drivers who have respect among the drivers who matter.
