Stop Outsourcing Our Jobs

Conway claims that it only calls in contractors for shag work. The pictures here show different. These drivers have been doing route work. To make matters worse, it appears they are outsourcing our work to Mexican drivers. Another example of why we need to unionize. That's the only way to put an end to Conways lies and deceiving ways.

Did that $2 raise really make things better for you? Are you better off now than before the raise? Are you worried about your future? Now is the time to go Union!

  2. Here at usb Conway is phasing out the line drivers it's about 70% purchase trailers now on line runs and has a company called tonys express doing most of are appointment freight for the city slowly getting rid of drivers

  4. 8/7/15 the day the route was given to ibarras transfer. that week the dispatcher was a common dsr driver the multitask as dispatcher/brown nosier. he must be getting something under the table with this move. he sends dsr early for his own profit. there i dirty deeds at hand that have nothing to do with the union. why? because the negotiate process is still on going. this dispatcher is good at making side money with company fleet he gets birthday cakes every year as gratitude from this temp truckers and truck lines. tried calling the ethics hotline no answer no help but yet theres an open door policy when in fact that door should be welded shut they way they are. are manager ted garcia only knows how to says: "i wasnt aware of that",when he needs to response to accusations he brinig in his puppet myrna delgado to answer the emails for him addressed to craig woods. he has his head up his ass. we are the profits on wheels we make this company $$ yet you get no $$. dont blame the union blame the company for not accepting the union. before you would get coaching, write ups, sucky routes now you have a voice. you can complain because he union even if it is not in full affect has be behind you all this time. Conway needs change and change is what they have given us short change. im glad that karma will soon turn its ugly head. and i for one will be sitting bag with a big bucket of movie popcorn.

  12. Here in LHW our manager is a shitard. Found out today Craig Wood promoted him because their buddies. Makes sense. Can't complain to Wood, He hides it under the table. Tom Clark's his buddy to. How do you think he made region manager in less than 5 years.?? But get this..the entire region suffers because of his hiding shit. He tried at LHO to but couldn't any longer. The investigated. Wake up...you have favoritism, racism, unequal rights, shit flying under the table and Wood covers shit up when he should investigate. The truth would come out on a bunch of shit.   19. Today XAU manager got fired for being racist. What's conway corporate waiting for to fire the next bigot at ULX? That's right, I'm talking about ULX manager, Paul. A sorry ass buster trying to get a female security guard fired. why are you trying to get her fired Paul? Is it becuase she's not giving information about what drivers are talking about? Don't forget, she knows a lot of your corrupt behavior. One more thing Paul, don't forget about equal employment opportunity. It sounds like a discrimination lawsuit waiting to happen. Bigotry is not acceptable but conway refuses to remove these racist busters from their management positions. This blog has a better open door policy than Conway.   27. Instead of posting info about different terminals and union stuff, why doesn't the administrator post what pussies the conway employees are? I can say I've reached out to a local union, been to meetings, gotten cards signed, had a union letter sent to my TM informing them I was trying to organize, argued with TM,FOS,HR, the union buster that was brought in and fellow coworkers about why we as workers needed the union, put pro union flyers around my hub. I've done my part to try and go union so even if my hub doesn't become union at least I CAN SAY I DIDN'T JUST BEND OVER AND SMILE while Conway had their way with us employees and stuck it up inside us. Stop asking what's happening at other places or bitching what's being done at your place AND MAKE IT HAPPEN ALREADY.

  33. I'm a former conway employee. Myself and a few few other guys at my barn started the union drive. I got cards signed, I went to union meetings, spoke out against management, anti union coworkers and the union busters. I signed a notice of organizing a union and had it sent to my SCM. I fought the good fight for the union. But I was fired from conway on trumped up chargers. The union I supported filed a nrlb case with a shit load of evidence to support me in getting my job back but the nlrb sided with conway. The union I supported did have me work with them for a few months while waiting to see what happened with my nlrb case so I did have money coming in. The union did have my back I can say that. But I don't have any faith in the nlrb and I think the union handled the organizing of my former conway barn very poorly. I don't think the union has the man power or knowledge to go after LTL companies such as conway and FedEx. Needless to say I work for FedEx freight now but I don't think I'd do it again and try to get the union at my new FedEx barn. Not because I don't believe that the union isn't best for the working man and the company has my best interest at heart but because I don't believe the union knows how to get it done against these big powerful LTL companies and no backing from the nlrb I just can't be another casualty in the war union vs company. I have nothing but respect for the union and my fellow coworkers that stuck their necks out as I did in tying to get a union at Conway but speaking from the front line and have been through the war and seeing both sides of it till I see a better plan from the unions on going after these companies I'll be laying low at FedEx freight.
