First of all Greg you have proven yourself to be a liar once again!! Your site claims that that the union is making promises it can't keep. What promises are you talking about ???
The union reps have NEVER promised anything to us, they have always said that everything is negotiable!
LIE #2 Next you claim that the confidentiality of card are not guaranteed! No one is going to find out who signs a card other that the organizer and the NLRB agent.
LIE #3 Authorization cards are only valid for ONE year! You claim that they have no expiration date! LIAR!
LIE #4 Under the law we only have 1 year to negotiate a contract, it's really funny how you word your sentences on your site
Negotiating a first contract can take many months or even a year or more to negotiate.
It's almost like your trying to twist your words to make people believe that it will take longer than a year but in reality YOU KNOW DAMN WELL what the law states!
LIE #5 You claim that the union can't guarantee job security.. YES they can Greg! You know damn well we are "at will" employees and you and your gestapo managers can fire us for ANY reason! When we have a contract we will be "JUST CAUSE" employees and this is why the union can guarantee job security.
LIE #6 Super seniority.. Are you kidding me!! What freight contract has "super seniority" in them? That might have worked in the past but tell me is that something you would agree to in a contract?? Stewards are necessary to file grievances and to represent members at our facilities, but you fail to mention that stewards only have limited powers, We will have a union business agent that takes care of all of our issues and that is something you don't want Greg, right?
Greg it really looks like your getting really desperate, how much longer will you be at the helm of the Conway ship?
Your opening letter states that Conway Freight respects employees rights to unionization. LIAR!!
If you indeed respected that fact you wouldn't be trying so hard to sway us from making an informed decision on the union. Why don't you allow the union to come into our yards and talk to us about the union if you respect our rights!
Your a numbskull, you still don't get it do you?! It's never been about the money, it's never been about our equipment, it's always been about Conways always changing work rules, disrespect from our supervisors and managers, cameras in the tractors, healthcare, pension!
Our total rewards package does lead in our industry, leading right to the BOTTOM!
Good job , but with respect to lie number 2, really the people that will find out if you signed a card are the people you tell, but if you really don't want a soul to know then you should go to the union hall and sign a card in private, that will ensure no one at conway will ever know who signed a card.

Management is thinking that the "union problem" has to do with language issues with those who speak English as a second language..... that is, they vote yes because they don't understand.
