ReplyDeleteDoug and Greg are you there?????
ReplyDeleteLets do this we need job security this is conway freight not purchase trailer freight open your eyes conway will completely eliminate most line drivers exept where they need you to work their dock and contract out to cheap otr drivers.
ReplyDeleteWay to go XNH! Stay strong and vote YES! We're petitioning strong in the Carolinas. We will be joining you in the vote soon! VOTE YES! YES! YES!
ReplyDeleteConway is raising their rates to force out customers. Bye-bye wage increase. They've taken away our wages before! Remember 2008? Unionization is our only salvation from this corrupt Company.
Yea Doug and Greg have always been there but I think now maybe they will be listening to work Conway drivers across America are saying to them and that is we are tired of being treated like we are equipment instead of people
ReplyDeleteThere has never been a better time for these freight companies to become unionized, and I sure hope that it happens! With the driver shortage, con-way and these other outfits can't use job security as a way to control the union.
ReplyDelete10-4
ReplyDeleteTHE UNION BUSTER SAID IT BEST. THE WORST THAT CAN HAPPEN IS THAT WE STAY THE SAME.
ReplyDeleteThey didn't say that they said things could get better stay the same or go down everything is based on the contract negotiated which is on a company by company base its not just 1 flat contract that ever company gets
DeleteBut whose gonna negotiate for anything less than what we have already. Not gonna happen. Vote Yes!
DeleteCongratulations to all the Conway locations that have petitioned The NLRB for an election. It is time to send a clear message to corporate that we had enough if their abuse. Maybe they should take a long and hard look at what they are doing to the people they claim to care about !! Look at what's going on in Florida all the service centers are reaching out to the union. So let's take this message across this nation from service centers down south to the north and east to west .my Co brothers find the strength and unite .vote yes !!!
ReplyDeleteGreat news forward brothers
ReplyDeleteRemember united we stand devided we fall don't wait for other terminals jump in now Uniion yes
ReplyDelete15 DAYS TIL VOTING DAY
ReplyDeleteWe all have suffered the abuse of this greedy executives in one way or another , unite in one vote YES.
ReplyDeleteAfter all the training of dock workers Mr. Conway is trying to shed there jobs. Conway is at its best again with no clue of the result. Heard dock workers that were anti union now saying this company doesn't care about anyone. Now there getting the treatment we drivers have gotten for years. ALL ABOARD NOW!!!GO TEAMSTERS!!!! LIKE THE YOUNG BULL SAID TO THE DAD BULL. LETS RUN DOWN THERE AND FUCK ONE OF THEM COWS. AND THE OLDER BULL RESPONDED NO SON LETS WALK DOWN AND FUCK EM ALL!!!! VOTE YES SLOW PROGRESSION WE WILL TRIUMPH
ReplyDeleteHEYYY BROTHERS WE NEED MORE PETITITIONS . I FROM LLA WE KEEP STRONG UNTIL THE END, WE NEED MORE SUPPORT, REMEMBER NEXT YEAR THE INSURANCE IS GOING TO INCREASE, MY VOTES WASA FOR JOB SECURITY, BEST HEALTH INSURANCE, OVER TIME AFTER 8 HRS, RESPECT SEÑORIE, AND BEST THING "RESPECT". THE QUÉSTION IS WHY YOU VOTE NO? WHY YOUR VOTE BE NOT? WHAT CONWAY CAN GIVE US ? I WRITE WHY A VOTE YES. NOW TELL ME YOU. THANKS DRIVER. LLA
ReplyDeleteIf our pay increase meant anything to Conway then why do we have to wait until next year to get it! Just enough time to see if they can slow the bleeding. To late Mr. Conway to persuade the union voting. Why have we only had one cooked lunch. Come on get cookin bitches we drivers are hungry!!! wouldn't u love 2 know MIDWEST
ReplyDeleteCon-Way do you really think you have this under control? Well, you just keep on thinking that! Guys this company is run by a group of GREEDY AMBITIOUS THUGS......They are definetly out of touch with REALITY.......Meaning the workers who keep this floating DSR and all the hard working office staff. Leaders yes you are entiltle to your salary and all the PERKS that comes
ReplyDeletewith the position. But GUESS WHAT? You have to be fair with the people who have contributed so much for years to this company. Yes we know by your ACTIONS over the years you treat us workers like numbers, some statistical equation you make up every minute of every day as you go along. We know you don't like to share the wealth noteven a dime because you guys are always caculating how you're going get it in your pockets plus more. So NOW CON-WAY check the HISTORY of how GREED LEADS TO DESTRUCTION.... ONCE YOU'VE THAT you know it's TIME! And you know what time it is!
Hey Doug how more do we have to lose 570,000,000 isn't enough I think it's time for Greg Lehmkuhl to go don't you.
ReplyDeleteI heard greg lehmkuhl was fired last friday. Just a rumor don't know how true. Maybe we should call ann harbor and ask for him and see what they say
ReplyDeleteRemember it's now or never. On right to work states tell all drivers that are not sure that they can vote the union in and not join until later. The point is we need the union in to back us up. Conway will not shut the doors they are owned by share holders in the end they will tell management I dont give a fuck how u run this company as long as we get our money. Share holders will not close a billion dollar company down. The only thing that will happen is management will get smaller million dollar bonuses. Remember Conway is the third biggest ltl company in the nation. Do u think they are gonna throw this little piggy bank away no fucken way. Teamsters all the way (pension)
ReplyDelete14 DAYS TIL VOTING DAY
ReplyDeleteLike I've been told nothing will change if a terminal votes yes... I'd love to put that comment to the test!!!! I've been here 20 years and would rather see this cash cow end for these people then continue making them record profits off of my sweat.... Get involved, make this happen... NOW IS THE TIME
DeleteCome on tulsa the hollow raise or fictitious or whatever you want to call it will not happen, but none the less some pat themselves on the back and say see conway cares about tulsa, wake the fuck up tulsa conway doesn't even know you, but ya'll want and want like little birds waiting for momma in ya'll's case its laredo and the rest of the terminal's with the strength to fight for what they earn, the majority of tulsa is nothing more than weak very weak they cant stand on there own two feat and need protection so please laredo and the rest fight tulsa' s battle for them please be there protector , pas it on about tulsa, thank you.
ReplyDeleteWow ( XNH ) manchester, new hamshire very small terminal has to show the not so big boys after all really just women in mens disguise im talking about the big terminal's like tulsa , dallas, Kansas City, and so on, these drivers are the ones that hide in the closet,, and when there wives and kids hollers out ok dad we chased away the bad guys, then they go to work with there chest pumped out and say well guys we had a burgler last night and oh yes i chased him away then a door bangs shut and they all scatter like roaches when the light comes on, then someone yells out quick call Manchester tell them we need there protection.
ReplyDeleteWell put! I guess for some people money is more important than dignity and respect hope you can buy some with 2 dollar raise!
DeleteThe problem at my terminal is everyone is scared shitless to rock the boat. Come on guys, wake up. The raise they promised does not even cover the increase in the health care this year. I want to at least fight for a pension. Even if we do not get it we will still get something better than what we have now. This was proven by the scumbags at the GO last week when they gave raises. based on the fact that they were shitting bricks over the fact of the teamsters coming in. Obviously, they have more to give, so let's grab some of it. This is your future. At least think about it.
ReplyDeleteSo these Union Busters throw papers around saying what Union Organizers are making. Whatever! Then i do my research on Conways executives, and what do you know, they're millionaires! Check it out for yourselves go to salary.com then click on salary, then executives salaries, then put con-way. (With the dash) and the rest speaks for itself.
ReplyDeleteMIAMI, FL WILL SURPRICE VERY SOON..
ReplyDeleteFLORIDA GO WE NEED YOU BROTHERS AND THERE IS A OTHERE TERMINAL THAT SOON WILL JOIN US JUST WAIT NEXT WEEK FOR THE GREAT NEWS SO CONWAY WAIT AND SEE
ReplyDeleteAny news from the midwest terminals? Where is xde or xcw in all this? What side are ye on boys?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE CON-WAY FREIGHT, WITH THE TEAMSTERS HERE BACKING ME UP, I LOVE MY JOB EVEN MORE, VOTE YES♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteLET'S GET SOME RESPECT GUYS , LET'S GO!!
ReplyDelete13 DAYS TIL VOTING DAY
ReplyDeleteTo all con way drivers. It's time to rise. Get off your butts and signs these cards now! Remember it's us employees that make con way what it is. Corporate has taken advantage of us and they keep getting richer. We don't want to become a third world. Time to rise up and fight for what we want. Please hurry. More terminals the better.
ReplyDeleteNEXT WEEK BROTHER WE WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN HOLD FOR OUR GOOD NEAWS BROTHERS
ReplyDeleteUNITED WE STAND ! FOR WHAT'S WRIGHT AND JUSTICE FOR ALL , STAND TALL AND FIGHT FOR YOUR FUTURE BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW THIS GREEDY EXECUTIVES DON'T CARE A BIT ABOUT ANY OF US IF YOUR VOTE IS NOT A YESSSSS YOU'LL REGRET IT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE .
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a need for a union. If you have good management there really is no need for a union to come play middle man in my opinion. However - if you have idiots like long time manager like John Heilman (uiv) running your terminal your job is on the line daily. He is prehistoric. Obsolete. Cares for no one. There is never a justified excuse or an unsafe situation. Conway preaches safety all the time, all day everyday. Yet when you bring up an issue its negligence or lazy behavior on the driver's part. You just don't want to work ext ext. This is 2014 the old school way of doing things is over. Employees need to be treated with respect. Conway you will have the union down your throat for the rest of your days. You have poisoned the water hole. I do not trust you, I cant trust you. When one man's years of service out weigh the lively hood of your driver's. Not to mention those that are dependent on these drivers for their lively hood and quality of life..... There is a problem. Most of my concerns would have been nothing if I felt like I had a voice. You've taken that from me. You've threatened my family and caused great discomfort for me and my beautiful little dependants over a non-issue. When you silence my voice and keep flexing your muscle there is a problem. When you neglect 20 voices because of the one.... You are a lost cause. I'll buy into the devil I don't know for the one I've spent to many years with. If I trusted you and felt kiki was getting a fair shake their would be a no vote from me. Yet your have pissed that away time after time. It's now getting to the point that this canyon can no longer hold back the stream. We will cut our own way through. Make our own course. You have time after time shown me how little you care for the voice of the one. Their is no fair dealing here. Only your way it's a tried and true tradition nurtured by the old and archaic leadership you have. Yes union representation will cost me money. So will a suspension. Security... Equality... Those are worth paying for.
ReplyDeleteThis is the same scenario in NMF with our absolute dictator NICOLE WOOD. I'm pretty certain this is a nationwide problem. They are puppets, benefitting the pockets of a handful of people and forgetting about the salary, over-time, healthcare, pension, job security benefits or their employees/slaves.
ReplyDeleteNo other choice but TIMTERS. Vote yes.
Let me start off by saying I like working for Conway Freight. But.... I'm also smart enough to know when I'm being screwed. No pensions, no overtime after 8hr or 40hrs, horrible health care options, a joke of a 401k, favoritism, laziness rewarded, FOS's with no prior trucking experience, millions spent on "LEAN", millions spent on cameras NO ONE WANTED! C'mon people. It's a no brainer here. Give yourself and your families some options. Protect yourself from this kind of ignorance. Don't let them get away with spending OUR money on their idiotic ideas! Vote YES on Unionization. Give us protection and options! What do you really have to lose? Ask yourself. .....
ReplyDeleteXSM here, The problem with our terminal starts with management and ends with nutless drivers. Now it's not that the management is that bad it's just that they are nutless also. Having been castrated long ago both management and drivers have been accustomed to being used and taken from. The biggest thing they have taken is the sense of pride and being a respected employee. I'll bet there isn't a handful of drivers willing to see and do what's right for themselves. The company has taken from you drivers, pension, reasonable health insurance, start times, equalized overtime, having flex drivers start early every day instead of adding start times, safety concerns of working conditions with respect of tractor/trailer write ups and yard/dock conditions. Look really look at what kind of place you work at the doors are falling apart the dock is uneven with the trailers, the yard is nothing but an accident waiting to happen. Just take some time to look around at your fellow drivers and understand this the company wants us to fight with each other that way we won't see the real problem for what it is. The real problem is we are beholden to the corporate greed and stockholders who don't have to jump start the fork trucks in subzero temperature, get pulled out of the trailer when theres rain snow or ice on the dock, jump start the tractors, move the dolley on gravel pothole laden mud, snow and ice lot, trying to open or close broken trailer doors. Now keep in mind that when all is said and done your expected to perform and be maintaining your moves per hour and delivery times without fail. Don't worry about your safety because if you have a preventable accident Con-Way will provide you with a letter to remind you of what a good employee you are. I'm sorry if I pissed off someone and if that is what it takes so be it. Get your balls back from the corner office and have a vote. I'm not saying I'm pro-union I'm pro-vote. Lets see what happens when a vote is taken, why are you drivers afraid to stand together. Your fight is not with each other or with mangement at the XSM terminal it's with the corporation that has taken you down the road of no pride, no respect, no safety and no self satisfaction of be a professional. Just remember you can and should vote and then you'll really know what type of man you are. It's only a vote what are you in fear of. P.S. don't get caught on camera reading this or you'll be in the office. By the way what was the bingo number yesterday :)
ReplyDeleteLaziness very well rewarded by ula dispatchers also!!! Buy the fac dispatcher food or a monster and he will give you any run or via you want.
ReplyDeleteULA, TIME IS IN YOUR HANDS!!!!
ReplyDeleteFrom MIAMI FL LET'S GO CALIFORNIA VOTE FOR THE BIG YES UNION REPRESENTATION
ReplyDeleteAfter reading the conway employee's comments, (coming from service centers, as well as reships, from areas across the United States); I've come to realize we're are all in the same sinking boat. Since hiring out at Conway, more than ten years ago, (Conway only gives me credit for nine)figures don't lie, but liars figure); ! This company has done nothing, but slice away at the driver's benefits, at the same time, they make it sound like, (the cuts)are for our own good. All the while they're slicing our benefits away, they continue to order, brand new, top of the line company cars; which our customer's pay dearly for. The company car program CCP, is one program that has always survived every economic hit, in fact in recent years, the new cars have gotten much more sportier; and for what? None of them advertise the conway logo, and most of them aren't even company colors - blue and white!! But yet, those that sit behind the wheel of those cars, are supposed to be our coaches! hahahaha It's funny how there's never a financial concern/debate or need for approval, just decide on what color. But when a safety concern is brought up, (something simple, like lighting our dark pothole filled/ muddy pit parking lot), that idea fell on the deafest of ears, for the longest time, actually ended up taking years to see it mature into a reality! Today we have a lighted yard, but it took a lot of pushing. Had the driver's not pushed, our leadership, or should I say, those in leadership roles, would've done absolutely nothing.I could go on and share many other relevant facts or concerns, that most DSR's would relate too, but I'll save those for another time. It's time at Conway, for a national union vote. I'm not pro union, just like I'm not pro getting our benefits sliced away year after year! In order to keep the corporate greeders from getting all our benefits, I believe we'll have to do what our forefathers did - vote union! ASAP
ReplyDeleteXSM here, really you think that working and safety conditions are about being lazy or whining. You union buster can atleast identify what terrminal your from and the drivers ther will know who you are. Lets see, the driver with the bald spot on top of his head, and bad knees from all the time spent under the TM's desk. It's not about being lazy you nutless wonder, it's about being able to go to work in a place that the safety and well being of the employee is more then just a write up. If you didn't some much time with you TM's and dispatchers ball sack resting on your chin maye you could really see what has been going on with Con-Way over the years. You must be either close to retirement or have an IQ of a rock because Con-Way has never put the employee ahead of profits. Every company needs to earn profits to survive but at what cost. Just remember when you have the balls to say what terminal your from your fellow drivers will know exactly who it is. This is helpful in getting votes because it really points out what is wrong with this company. Thanks for showing your colors. P.S. I here the union train coming, and remember corporate management it's not the caboose that kills you it's engine, and right now your seeing the caboose. It's to late to stop the union train. Tanks :)
ReplyDeleteLOOK AT THIS VIDEO, WHERE OBAMA IS TALKING ABOUT OVERTIME PAYMENT.

There's been a lot of negative talk about nutless and spineless terminals and workers. I would like to urge people to end this negativity. Yes, in every service center there is going to be individuals who are completely content with the way things are. I don't understand why they would be, but it is what it is. On the other hand there are many like myself that are constantly seeking a better quality of life for myself and my family. I believe that joining the teamsters is going to be the means to obtain this higher quality. When I look at who is anti-union at my service center. It tends to be those who are not well liked and have conflicts with others, also they seem to be the ones that are thought of as clock milkers. These people are of no use to those of us seeking a better life. Best to ignore them and let them go about their way. On the other side, there are those of us organizing and promoting positive change. I like to view these people as shepherds. In the middle of these groups is the vast majority of conway employees who are on the fence. There are many reasons why they choose to be in this position. I would choose to guess that fear is the greatest reason. We desperately need these people to win the battle against greed and tyranny. We are not going to persuade them to join our cause by kicking them in the oysters when they don't think like us. Please shepherds be patient kind and understanding. We need to unite and lead our brothers and sisters to a better way of life. Education and enlightenment is how we will succeed.
ReplyDeleteDIVIDE AND CONQUER:
DeleteThey will try to play one group against the other: "Disloyal" union supporters against "loyal pro-employer" union opponents; men vs. women, older vs. younger, day shift vs. night shift, one department against another - whatever works for them. That's what con-way wants let's stay focused and positive.
THAT'S RIGHT LET'S STAY TOGETHER AND LET YOUR VOTE COUNT YESSSSS!
DeleteWe need to focus on our goal if drivers don't want to be part of the movement let them be. No one's gonna change their minds look at what happened at FedEx Cinnaminson don't let the company win! Let's focus on the guy's that are on the fence and educate them on y we need a union. We all know we have people that are not gonna vote yes don't stress over people like that they're gonna be the minority when we win. IT'S A NEW ERA AT CON-WAY I WANT TO BE THE FUTURE NOT THE PASS VOTE YES WHEN THE TIME COMES!
ReplyDeleteUntill mgt changes the nutless and spineless leaches will always be that way because they have mgt wrapped up and do as they please so vote yes and we all get to do as the suckasses do and there is limit to that because the suckass's have no limits.
ReplyDeleteThese Union Busters at the meetings are giving handouts of what a "Hypocrite" is. (Refering to the Union and its Organizers). Really? Are you guys kidding me? LUPE, you are the Devils Advocate, along with your thugs. How could you say those things if you don't know one fu@kin thing about our Daily struggle. You are only there to collect money for 5weeks. That's It! Get your 3 million dollars as shove it! Lupe, you shared with us the word "hypocrite" and I'll share one with you, "Renaissance". This is the Rebirth of Conway. We need change. Conway doesn't understand that. If Conway and LUPE notice on all these blogs that there is a problem, they might handle things differently. Yet they rather throw money to a Buster than to sit down and think about what's unfolding before their eyes... Brothers, stay focused, we have nothing to loose. Really. Our insurance is going up next year, where's our sick time and vacation time (like the rest of the country), why combined PTO. And if you are sick they attach an Event on you. If you get hurt, why does Conway relocate you when you come back from leave. Please guys, don't believe everything these BUSTERS tell you. Stay strong and focused. Vote yes. Things will only get worse. For those of you that have doubts. If your reading this, that means you've read the other blogs, why is practically the entire country wanting to organize? Open you eyes guys. Obviously there is something wrong. Don't feel you should be loyal to the company, because they aren't loyal to you!!!! Everyone's time will come, including yours.
ReplyDeleteWell said.
DeleteNNC & NAT LET'S MOVED THIS FORWARD. BETTER BENEFITS, INSURANCE, PAY & WORK CONDITIONS.......LET'S MAKE THE PLAYING FIELD EVEN FOR A CHANGE. WE CAN DO THIS DON'T LET ANOTHER YEAR GO BY BEING SILENCE. MAKE YOUR VOICES BE HEARD THIS IS NOT A FLY BY NIGHT HUSH KEEP THEM QUIET BOYS SITUATION. WE CAN DO THIS YES WE CAN!
DeleteNAT here. Just a handful of us want this everyone else is freaking scared shitless to even mention UNION. They come up with these off the wall scenarios of what Conway would counter the movement with. I call bullshit on all of them. I've been here under 10yrs so I haven't lost what the older guys have.PENSION , INSURANCE. That would and should be enough for anyone to vote yes. Until everyone down here at NAT finds there nuts we'll just sit by the wayside even though we are a crucial win for the Southeast. One can only hope. Sorry NNC
DeleteNNC & NAT YOUR THE KEY THAT'S GONNA LOCK DOWN THE SOUTH LET'S DO THIS NOW WE NEED YOU NOW!!
DeleteNAT, NNC HAS ALWAYS CARRIED YOUR TERMINAL IN PROFITS! YES NAT IS EASY ACCESS TO THE MAJOR HWYS BUT DON'T BE SURPRISED WHEN THE LEAN GENIUSES IN ANN ARBOR START THINKING OF NEW WAYS TO CHANGE THAT! THINK GUYS BECAUSE YOU WILL GET NO WARNING WHEN THE GREEDY CORP THUGS FEELS IT TIME TO MAKE A MOVE ON NAT....THEY DON'T CALL THIS PLACE THE DIRTY SOUTH FOR NOTHING!!!!
DeleteI can just about guarantee that if the metro Atlanta terminals NAT, NNC, NNW. Well Rome and Macon as well were to do this, Conway would have nowhere to run.
DeleteThe south joining the union.. That's got a nice ring to it... Young or old we know for a fact what they can change or worse yet take away.. Without a doubt we have nothing to lose except dignity settling for less which is exactly what we've all done
DeleteVERY WELL PUT, YOU TO THINK AND VISUALIZE TWO STEPS AHEAD. NAT HASN'T SEEN A PROFIT IN YEARS. TRUST ME GREED WILL TAKE THEM TO THAT UP THE AINTY PROFIT RATIO. IF YOU THINK IT'S NOT POSSIBLE IN THE FUTURE.......OH WELL YOU JUST KEEP ON THING THAT
DeleteWhy are we discussing whos carrying who. Sounds to me like more of that Conway instilled me against you attitude. This is about coming together guys and gals not about which terminal is better. Lets stick together Vote yes
DeleteThis is NOT about the best terminal it's about what terminals are on the same page. Better job security, better health care with lower out pocket deductibles and fair wages for everyone. METRO ATLANTA forget about NAT we can make this happen without them.....CORP IS REALLY interested in the PIGGY BANK TERMINALS ask LAREDO and CORP IS STILL IN SHOCK OVER LAREDO, so much that they want to throw that vote out. LAREDO can vote 10 MORE TIMES AND IT WILL BE THE SAME results in fact you will probably get higher percentage that are YES. Vote yes to go back to receiving the twice a year ICP CHECKS, VOTE YES FOR SQUASHING THE B@TCH CLIQUES, VOTE YES FOR BETTER WORKING CONDITIONS....AND FOR JOB PROMOTIONS FOR US DRIVERS WHO WANT TO ADVANCE IN SALES......WE CAN NEGOTIATE THE BEST CONTRACTS ANYWAY BASED ON THE CUDTOMER NEEDS.......WE WORK WITH CUSTOMERS FIVE DAYS A WEEK and we actually do refer new customers so why don't we get a referral fee, GIFT CARD STARTING NO LOWER THAN $100 think about how much revenue your referral brings to your terminal and Con-Way. Guys all im saying is PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE GET SOME DAM SENSE AND VOTE YES...Corp is maxing THEIRS AND THE SHAREHOLDERS POCKETS OFF OF OUR BACKS.
DeleteI would say NAT is a piggy bank terminal. 2 million pounds of frt cross their dock every day inbound/outbound. That's not including FAC. Not to mention they are ranked 10th in the system. Pretty large operation looks like. We need them to go just as bad as any other terminal in the nation. Just because others may not seem to be on the right page at this moment doesn't mean they wont be. Being positive will win this thing. Vote Yes!
DeleteI'M HOPING & PRAYING YOU ARE RIGHT BROTHER. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF ALL OF US CAN DO THIS TOGETHER. I'M HOPING FOR BETTER DAYS AGAIN FOR ALL OF US. YOU HAVE TO RESPECT EVERYONE'S OWN INDIVIDUAL DECISION. LET'S KEEP THIS MOVEMENT POSITIVE AND KEEP PRESSING ON FOR THE NEXT TERMINAL VICTORY............I'M STILL SAYING LOUD AND PROUD OH YES WE CAN!!!!! IF BELEIVE WE CAN ACCOMPLISH AND CHANGE FOR THE BETTER. ........VOTE YES!
DeleteVery well said, after 10 plus years working for this company I have lost all hope with this decision makers, honestly guys what do we have to loose our paychecks that is the only thing we have left, THIS IS A VERY EASY SIMPLE CHOICE VOTE YES, DON'T LET FEAR DECIDE FOR YOU , YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF.
ReplyDeleteEast Philly are TEAMSTERS!
ReplyDeleteBring the Teamsters to Fed Ex Freight
39 minutes ago
Tonight it is with great honor that we congratulate our East Philly (EPH) terminal. With an overwhelming majority vote they have voted "YES" to be recognized as Teamsters! This is a phenomenal victory in our effort to 'Bring the Teamsters to FedEx Freight'. We give a huge thanks to our brave brothers in East Philly for standing up and making a statement for us all.
All my respect to all of them . let's keep moving forward
ReplyDeleteXNH set the tone for all other terminals to follow. UPS has a sound union and we deserve the same. And for you dock workers look at dock workers wages at UPS. Pretty close to drivers pay. We at Conway all deserve better. Don't fall for there bag of tricks. Once election year gets closer and freight levels drop Conway will rid most dock workers. Don't pass up this chance it may be the last one. VOTE YES!!!VOTE YES!!!
ReplyDeleteHow is union going to make it better ?
ReplyDeleteThe most priceless thing is job security. Even if nothing else changes it's worth a yes vote for that alone. Right now we are AT WILL employees, (right to hire right to fire for any reason) if we have a union contract that changes to JUST CAUSE, (meaning they will have to find an extremely good reason to fire u and make it stick) employee. This alone is absolutely priceless, you can't put a dollar sign on job security. THE END.

ReplyDelete"We can't be afraid of change. You may feel very secure in the Pond that you are in, but if you never venture out of it, you will never know that there is a such a thing as an Ocean. Holding onto something that is good for you now, may be the very reason why you don't have something better." -C. Joybell C. (5 days till voting for ULA ULX UFV) So. Cal.
ReplyDeleteHere in Los Angeles I was at my route for the day. A Big Strapper from Fedex hit me up, he asked that why "us" young people are trying to unionize CNWY? He said that at Fedex they are doing the same thing. He said that things have been fine for him for 20+ years. I told him that "with all do respect, his time is done with Fedex, he is on his way out for retirement." "He probably did have some good years with them, but now it's OUR time. We are Trying to secure our future with our careers." We are trying to protect the little that we have left, for ourselves, our families and Not to worry that our jobs are at stake for silly and random things that Management throws our way. More than anything, "Job Security!" What he did next surprised me, he shoke my hand and thanked me making him see things differently. That's just one small example of what our mission is. We are all behind our Brothers and Sisters.

ReplyDelete"What I like most about change is that it's a synonym for 'hope.' If you are taking a risk, what you are really saying is, 'I believe in tomorrow and I will be a part of it." -Linda Ellerbee (4 days till voting for ULA ULX UFV) So. Cal.
