Safety Comes With Experience

Over 20 employees have been fired at the San Bernardino, CA terminal for safety violations. Violations that include things like driving in the yard without four way flashers on, leaving the forklift forks just inches off the ground and not putting chocks on. These are all minor things, things that wouldn't even cause management to bat an eye in a union barn. Conway just doesn't get it. How do they expect people to be safe when all they do is get rid of people after petty violation? The only way to truly be safe is to work on safety. People learn as they go. Maybe if they were more lenient, then people could come to work and improve at their job and at being safe. Another reason why union companies are among the safest. It's not by accident, it's because they're experienced.

Who keep showing up dallas for reason what so ever. Like keith in personal and vp's . What a moran . We dont like his attitude 90% of the drivers hate his attitude. 2. Texas has turned in five terminals already enough to vote . Lets keep it going drivers. Like Hoffa said enough is enough from this s.o.b. Ceos . God Bless America. So, the Ceos can give away 1 extra vacation to conway managers and supervisors right after they recieved their bonus . It came from us working hard employees. Who sweat everday.

  4. Conway stole our vacation and lied.conway think we're all "suckers" by telling us we can go negative on our vacation until 2018,right when you figured we had been kicked into the dirt enough, just as we were trying to adjust to regain our vacation days, conway gave management an extra week vacation with their 10% v.v.p.

  6. At Union Barns you can get written up for some of those violations but they just fire you. There is a process we go thru (1) verbal (2) letter (3) time off like a day and(4) then maybe fire you. Then your Union gets involved if the shop steward couldn"t take care of the problem. Most of the time it gets taken care of by your shop steward. So all you guys that don't want a Union well think about those 20 Drivers who got laid off for all the small Bullshit.

  10. Irvine, ca has a racist manager john h. that's why he was transfer from ula to uiv. Let’s just ignore these cancerous people maybe they will dry up and go away one day, let's try to focus on forming a union and keep it positive. Getting organized will be a way of getting back at those bigots.
