Uh, you are right about that. Look, what's going on in Laredo, TX Conway drivers nationwide. Listen to this. Mexican contractors from old Mexico. Bring in cfi trailers from Mexico and get paid 10.00 to 20.00 dollars to drop trl, round trip. Then, Manager Rudy tells them Mexicans to hookup p and d trl. To Laredo, TX and start delivering two stops or more in the city, Our freaking freight. And pays them 30-----40 for every 53 footer trl. If you don;t believe me, then head out to Laredo, TX and see it for yourself. There are a lot of cdl drivers out there, And the s.o.b. ceos are making money. Watch out San Diego, Ca and Nogales, AZ, it will be your turn. It's time, it;s time to organize for our people in America.
There goes Conway again fucking up the standard of living. Just like they did to CF.Now they are cheating the American workers and there own people Sad. Shame on Corporate Conway for exploiting your workers and the poor american people looking for work. Someone needs to contact the news media and let them know about this.
ReplyDeleteI hope you s.o.b. Ceo.s are enjoying your 125% double your contract bouses. And 70% for v.p..s . Pretty its not going to be pretty any more with our own contract for drivers. Coming to texas was a big mistake.
ReplyDeleteThere are many horrible things going on in corporate America. Companies are making profits, CEO's are taking millions in bonuses, and the workers are taking less in wage and benefit cuts. Companies go bankrupt but still give the top executives millions in bonuses. These guys get rewarded for failure and they have the guts to blame their workers, and if they have a union work force, they blame the "greedy" union. Conway keeps using the problems at YRC to justify them taking our wages and benefits. What they don't tell us is that it's thanks to the Teamsters union that YRC is still afloat. Conway doesn't mention that the workers of YRC voted to take pay cuts and other concessions. YRC took a pay cut and gave one week vacation as concessions to help the company. Not here at Conway, they did not have a financial problem, but Conway took advantage of the economy and forced us to take a pay cut and stole our vacations. That is why in today's market we need a union. Without a union you have no voice at the bargaining table. Right to work for less is bad for workers. There are two reasons Republicans want to weaken unions, one is to weaken the impact unions have on voters and the other is so that their corporate donors/owners can cut wages, benefits, and everything else they can.
