Analyze This...

Here is my analysis, FedEx employees are paying $69 a week for PPO and $89 for HMO (KAISER) per week. PLUS CO-PAYMENT $25 for PPO $35 HMO visitation and prescription payment, plus $30 lab work. Conway employees are paying $ 105 per week for PPO, Plus co-payment for visitation and prescription co-payment and also $30 for lab work. ABF, YRC, UPS PACKAGE, Pay nothing per week, they have choices of PPO'S, HMO'S. $10 visitation, $5 prescription. What do you want? To be At Will with no choice, and no fiduciary trusted person to represent the employees. Or to be a union member, and not be an At Will employee, and to be able to vote and select a trusted fiduciary member and to represent us employees.

  1. $105 a per week for health insurance premiums it’s an average of a family of 4 employee+spouse and 2 children, add $20 more for each additional child.conway can talk about yrc and blame the union for it’s financial trouble. But at least yrc drivers don’t pay for their health insurance.

  2. It is slightly different for my family. With the plan we have through Select Health here in Utah it is very economical. The company (YRC) pays all premiums and we have a modest copay for Dr. visits of $20. Prescriptions are $20.

Our dental and vision are top notch also. All premiums paid by the company.

Dental (Northwest Administrators)is 70/80/90/100. By the forth year of coverage your dental visits for cleaning cost nothing and you may have 2 cleanings per year.

This is a wonderful plan if you have children.

  4. At Abf we pay nothing Abf pays our insurance no copays and we have choices from Kaiser to PPO Blue Shield or Anthem blue cross and medco for perscriptions.we have great vision plan and dental plan. Again it cost nothing! So if ABF can pay for its drivers so can Conway !! They also pay into our Pension every month about 1200.00 per month all part of a good CONTRACT.....and by the way my Union dues are 63 per month and Tax Deductable.
