Remember this even tho you have a union the company still has rules that need to be followed by an Employee of that company, with in the guidelines of the contract between the Employer and employees.. And if you read your employee book you will find it writen in there The company can and will change rules as they see fit also that your employment is at the company's discretion. You as an Employee can be let go as the company sees fit. And you as an Employee have no rights..<br />With a union you are given certain rights as to your employment. The company can reprimand you for breaking the rules but they can not just fire you at will. You as an Employee have due process before you get fired... And you might be thinking .well who makes the contract between the employee and the company???
